18 Design is a small design and branding consultancy that helps our clients engage with their audiences. Our aim is simple – to communicate with clear, considered design. Design that delivers measurable benefits.

Steve Pitcher has over 25 years experience in helping transform businesses with successful design solutions. He graduated from Kingston University and co-founded award-winning agency Nucleus, where he met fellow designer Deborah Fergie. In 2004 they teamed up to form 18 Design.

We’re friendly, hands-on, dedicated and extremely passionate about what we do. Staying small means we always work directly with you, one to one. You call, we answer – no account handlers, just our small team. We keep to schedule and work to budget, and with no costly overheads you only pay for our time and expertise. And yes, we even work weekends if the deadline demands it! We pride ourselves on being able to make every client feel like they’re our only client and believe in establishing long-term relationships by giving you every reason to come back time and time again. Our clients come from many different sectors and range from start-ups to international organisations.

Because design is a problem-solving activity, we need to have a real understanding of your business. To gain insight we dig deep and ask relevant questions, then listen carefully to your answers. We’re sticklers for detail and will always go that extra mile to ensure we reach a solution that has a positive impact.
